History
of Our Church
The Western Reserve United Methodist Church was created in 1965 by the merger of two former Methodist congregations. The Cornersburg Church was located one mile from our present location and the Epworth Church that was located on the south side of Youngstown. The new congregation was relocated in Canfield, Ohio.
Today, the Western Reserve United Methodist Church is determined to reach new generations with the Gospel. The church offers three services on Sunday morning, each one tailored to speak to various generations. During the summer months, the early worship service takes place in our outdoor chapel, Woodland Haven. We are committed to being a church that is in the disciple-making business.
Western Reserve Church will develop disciples who reflect Christ’s love through worship, fellowship and service.
