Worship
Christmas Eve | Lent | Easter | Communion | Saturday Night Worship | Blessing the Animals Holy Week

The cornerstone of the Christian faith is Easter. It is a time to remember the resurrection of Jesus. It is a time to remember that nothing is impossible in God. Only God can turn complete defeat and turn it into absolute victory!

Traditionally, Western Reserve offers four worship services on Easter morning. Each one emphasizes the power of the empty tomb. Our youth sunrise service begins at 7:00. Weather permitting, we will be in our outdoor chapel, Woodland Haven. Russ Adams preaches the other three services. The 8:30 and 11:00 services are located in the sanctuary. Our 9:30 contemporary service is located in the fellowship hall. A breakfast is served on Easter morning to help raise money for one of the church's various mission projects.

Western Reserve also holds Holy Week services. On Maundy Thursday the congregation gathers for worship at 7:00 in the sanctuary to remember the Upper Room. On Good Friday the church is open for a twelve-hour prayer vigil beginning at 6:00 a.m. The church gathers for worship on Good Friday at 7:00 in a local mausoleum to remember the death of Christ.
