Russ Adams Pastor |
"I believe that God is doing something special here. I came because of the potential that I found in this congregation but I stay because I want to be part of something special," says Russ Adams. Western Reserve is a growing congregation because the church offers people the opportunity to walk closer to Jesus. Church business is secondary to the disciple-making process.
An ordained Elder in the East Ohio Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Russ Adams came to Western Reserve in 1994. He is a graduate of Mount Union College and Asbury Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Western Reserve he served three other appointments in East Ohio.
Russ and his wife Kathy were married in 1988. They have two daughters, Sarah and Anna.
